Actor and TV host Bernardo Langlott has been going through a complicated situation for almost 2 years in his home in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, in the west zone of Rio de Janeiro. The subject of public health was on TV: "The windows are all locked, the number of pigeons is frightening and so is the fear!" Bernardo reported when he received the Rede Record team at his apartment. Residents in the region are very concerned about the pigeon infestation in the upscale neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro. Bernardo's neighbors fear contamination with numerous diseases that can be transmitted by the animal's feces and even lead to death! The appeal is for people not to feed the pigeons in the region and for the authorities to take measures to control their reproduction: "There are people feeding the pigeons in a daycare next to the condominium, the ignorance and lack of awareness of some people is revolting!"
