Direct from the Fairmont, the launch event for the Arpoador VIP area brought together special guests and public figures to celebrate the warm-up for Carnival. Among the highlights, radio host Kelly Jorge, known as the "Yellow Doll", shared her excitement at participating in the event and her passion for the greatest show on Earth.
"I'm thrilled with the invitation. I love Carnival, I've always been a party girl, and for me it's a privilege to be here, at this mega event to start the warm-up for Carnival. Besides, Carnival is already here, right? From Saracuruna to Copacabana, it's very chic!" said Kelly, excited.
The radio host said that this is her first time in Copacabana and took the opportunity to record a video to share the special moment with her family. "Mom, look where I am! Wonderful! We have to celebrate, it's part of life, especially when we're talking about Grande Rio, the school of our hearts. It's time to look ahead, celebrate and make plans for the future." Kelly Jorge also highlighted her connection to her work at Super Rádio Tupi, where she hosts an entertainment program from Monday to Friday, from 1 pm to 3 pm. "Luckily for me, I am privileged to be among the stars of Majestade do Rádio and to be able to broadcast something I love: Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. It's that moment that moves you. How can you get used to the biggest event in the world? Impossible!" During the interview, Kelly encouraged even the most skeptical about Carnival to try the experience at Sapucaí. "I challenge even those who don't really like Carnival to come to Sapucaí one day. I doubt you won't get goosebumps with the sound of the drums, each start, each warm-up. It's something unique, an unbelievable energy. Everyone should experience this at least once in their life." Kelly also made sure to thank the organizer Andressa, who invited her to the event. "I was invited in such a genuine way. When I praised the work they were doing here, Andressa replied: ‘I love Boneca Amarela!’ How could I not accept an invitation like that?"
The Arpoador VIP area promises to be one of the most popular spaces during Carnival.
