On December 1st, World AIDS Day, AGANIM DIREITOS HUMANOS, in partnership with the Red Cross of Nova Iguaçu, Centro Social Fusão, Social Organization ComCausa, ODS Municipal, NGO Amigos de Nilópolis, and the City Hall of Mesquita, will hold the event at Praça Elizabeth Paixão in Mesquita, Baixada Fluminense. The event will take place from 9 am to 2 pm and seeks to promote citizenship through the integration of health, culture, and human rights.
The event, which has the support of social movements, civil society organizations, and government representatives, will be a milestone in raising awareness about the prevention of HIV/AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), in addition to promoting the strengthening of care networks and social inclusion.
Artists also joined the campaign, such as Adriana Bombom, Journalist Fábio Ramalho and singer D'Black who made a video inviting people to the event and seeking to promote comprehensive health in the most needy areas of the state.
